By exploring the legacy of our past, we make Utah a better place for the future.

From its foundation, Better Days has been dedicated to elevating women’s voices past and present. As a 501(c)(3), we seek to share Utah women’s stories in classrooms and the community in a meaningful, representative, and diverse way.

Utah women have a rich legacy of leadership. They were the first in the nation to vote under an equal suffrage law, and women have continued to shape and impact Utah’s various communities throughout the state’s history.

Stories have power. As we share stories of women’s leadership from Utah’s history, we strengthen Utah’s future by supporting women to build on that legacy and become more engaged participants in Utah’s business, political, and educational communities.

It’s time to tell our story.

Better Days Goals:

Share Utah women’s history through education, events, and public art.

Elevate Utah women’s voices past and present.

Create high-quality educational resources for Utah’s K-12 students and learners of all ages.
