Join us for an opening reception for the “Utah Women Working for the Vote and Beyond” exhibit on the 4th floor of the Utah State Capitol. To honor important voting rights anniversaries in the year 2020, the exhibit includes 50 illustrations of Utah women’s advocates by local artist Brooke Smart as well as objects related to the history of women’s voting rights from Utah State History and the Utah State Archives. This exhibit is a partnership between Better Days 2020 and the Department of Heritage and Arts, and is only on display until December 15.

After a short program at 6:30, visitors can meet illustrator Brooke Smart, talk with descendants of the women featured in the exhibit, and participate in a collaborative art project.
