Join us for a celebration of the 19th Amendment
If you think Utah women are rad, you’ll want to join us.
One hundred years ago, on October 3, 1919, Utah approved - or ratified - the 19th Amendment as part of the U.S. Constitution. Utah women had been the first American women to vote under equal suffrage laws fifty years earlier, and they worked hard for the national amendment. The 19th Amendment extended women's voting rights throughout the United States, even though many women of color had to continue to struggle for those rights. Come celebrate Utah's trailblazing women with us!
